Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

g-s locks up ("busy" mouse cursor keeps spinning forever) and I have to reboot
the system to get everything working well again.

I only appended the last 64.000 characters of the strace because this form
won't allow more. I hope the required info is in there.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Lock X using gnome-screensaver (Ctrl+L, depending on the config)
2. Press Enter, making g-s check the password

I'll attach an strace.
