Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
I launch Brasero in order to create a data disc with a DVD+RW on my Dell 1525 N laptop (which is fully linux compatible). The burn process work correctly and Brasero advise me at the end that everything is OK, and the disc is ejected. Then if I try to insert it again in my driver, the DVD reader turn for some time but no windows open in order to allow me to select any action( eg: open in Nautilus). Also the DVD is not mounted and I do not see its on the desktop or in Nautilus. I got the following message when running dmesg | tail [ 150.052063] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 120 [0] [ 150.724078] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 132 [0] [ 151.272079] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 140 [0] [ 229.380032] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 108 [0] [ 230.052062] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 120 [0] [ 230.724077] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 132 [0] [ 231.272068] iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Failed to get channel info for channel 140 [0] [ 280.511025] UDF-fs: No anchor found [ 280.511030] UDF-fs: No partition found (1) [ 280.694934] ISOFS: Unable to identify CD-ROM format. I made 3 tests with 3 differents empty DVDs and the result is always the same. I have recorded a log of the third test which I attach to the bug.
