Ah, so it only happens when copying from that device and not when
copying within e.g. your home directory? Does it only happen with the
camera, or with any other storage device?

Yes, it happens ALL the time I try to copy images from my camera (from
/media/XXX to /home/name/photos/dir). Sollution is to create the folder
before copying files into the clipboard, but it is very anoying...
