In Precise, there still is a /etc/xdg/gnome-power-manager.desktop file
in the gnome-power-manager package, but no /usr/bin/gnome-power-
manager.

- Stop installing the g-p-m autostart xdg file, the daemon parts have been
replaced by gnome-settings-daemon
it seems gnome-power-manager has been subsumed in gnome-settings-daemon
now. (although it's not very explicit in the ubuntu
