On 20070217 the Hardware information selection is back again. I use
this data.
The Ubuntu Device Database selection is at the bottom if anyone wants to
use it; there wasn't a pop-up request for this data after boot up
anyway.
There's a related bug #83324 so I hope to keep my eye on the Control
