The icon /usr/share/icons/Human/48x48/devices/gnome-dev-printer.png is
correctly picked up for Hardware -> Printing but not for System ->
Printing.

Do you have a /usr/share/icons/Human/48x48/devices/gnome-dev-printer.png
icon installed? That's the icon that is shipped by the theme and used
for that item and that works on my feisty desktop

The Printing (System-Config-Printers 0.7.51) shows an icon which is a
[X] (I guess it means no icon found). I am using the Human icon set.
When I start the Printing Config, the status bar also shows a generic
icon.
