Can't open .war format since Oneiric (java)
I've tested File Roller 3.2.1 which Martin Pitt mentioned above and can
confirm that this bug no longer exists. I can now open war files without
any problem.
Thank you!
One minor problem I found is that the icon of war file is not properly
set. It looks like an empty text file but not a archive
And thank you, Sebastien.

Can't open .war format since Oneiric (java)
Hello,
I removed completely kdelibs5-data and all dependent apps using the
Synaptic Package Manager and now I can open war files as well.
FYI: after doing this a lot of files in /usr/share/mime/packages
directory was removed (the most of them).

Hello,
I'm having the same annoying problem but I've never installed any kde packages.
aste@dv6790:~$ dpkg -S /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml

As all the other affected users the bug showed up after upgrading to

the issue from comment #39 is likely a different one then, what mimetype
is displayed for those files in nautilus?

Well, I'm not sure what else we can report about it though, as it's simply a

Sebastien, could you please tell us what other information you would like us to

Isn't there any way to get more detailed info about the error? or anything
similar (e.g. turning on the debug mode of file-roller? if possible) ?

Or should we create another ticket for kdelibs5-data since it's causing
