Can't open .war format since Oneiric (java)
I've tested File Roller 3.2.1 which Martin Pitt mentioned above and can
confirm that this bug no longer exists. I can now open war files without
any problem.
Thank you!
One minor problem I found is that the icon of war file is not properly
set. It looks like an empty text file but not a archive
And thank you, Sebastien.

kdelib5-data defines the mimetype as:
mime-type type=application/x-webarchive
sub-class-of type=application/x-compressed-tar/
sub-class-of type=application/x-gzip/ !-- only necessary because
x-compressed-tar is not specifying this sub-class-of (shared-mime-info 0.8) --

Hello,
I'm having the same annoying problem but I've never installed any kde packages.
aste@dv6790:~$ dpkg -S /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml
dpkg-query: no path found matching pattern /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml.
As all the other affected users the bug showed up after upgrading to
11.10
the issue from comment #39 is likely a different one then, what mimetype
is displayed for those files in nautilus?
