Added Martin to the subscribers, as package duplication is his area AFAIK.
Carlos, any stats on how many bugs come in via bug buddy?

If it is needed the change can be reverted, it's a simple line in
debian/rules.
The pros and cons of having duplicated gnome-system-tools/xubuntu-
system-tools source packages in main vs. having bug buddy integration in
g-s-t need to be evaluated.
Carlos, do you know approximately what
Rebuilding a package is a different topic than changing branding which
can be done from casper or with a new package or gconf default file

Yes, GTK a11y initialisation is done using the GTK_MODULES envvar,
that's why gaim, gimp etc are accessible. Only bonobo specific a11y is
initialized in gnome_program_init() but that's not a problem for apps
that do not use bonoboui.
If any gnome-dependencies are still needed by the nautilus
The user would have to set that environment variable then when it works
without doing anything at the moment?

yes, that is set up by the session manager (in both gnome and xfce4) if
the enable_atk gconf key is set. It works for all GTK apps.

Does anybody else an opinion on that? I think we should not use that
option because keeping bug-buddy integration can be useful. There is a
gconf key to use apport or not at the moment which allow people to use
the upstream tools if they want (might be useful for people who want to
do a GNOME CD
What about a11y initialization, is that done by gtk_init()?
