Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-extensions
According to this bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352082 and this blog post http://therning.org/magnus/archives/252 the Epilicious extension is now included in Gnome's SVN and has also become part of Epiphany. However, this extension is not built by default in the Epiphany Ubuntu Feisty package. I decided to submit this bug after a short conversation with an upstream developer on IRC: mar 11 16:13:03 <dpm> I was reading this: http://therning.org/magnus/archives/252, which mentions that the epilicious extension is now "official". Is that to be expected to be in gnome 2.18 or 2.20? mar 11 16:14:29 <reinouts> dpm: yes and no... Epiphany-extensions is not officially part of GNOME mar 11 16:14:40 <reinouts> but in 2.17.92, epilicious is included mar 11 16:14:48 <reinouts> in epiphany-extensions 2.17.92, I mean mar 11 16:14:56 <reinouts> so it will be in 2.18.0 mar 11 16:15:17 <reinouts> but beware, your distro packager might not know to update his list of extensions-to-build mar 11 16:15:23 <dpm> I see... mar 11 16:15:33 <reinouts> I fixed it for mandriva but... mar 11 16:16:19 <dpm> In ubuntu's epiphany-extensions 2.17.92 does not seem to have been built... :( mar 11 16:16:45 <reinouts> dpm: file a bug, friendly kick their packager... ** Affects: epiphany-extensions (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- The Epilicious extension is now part of Epiphany, yet it is not built by default https://launchpad.net/bugs/91734 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
