the issue seems similar to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676689 which is about rb stopping to play when going from mp3 to ogg upstream pointed to http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-plugins- base/commit/?h=0.10id=38803239c026163589dde04259b00c5fe33ad706 as a fix for the issue

This bug seems to affect me as well after playing an mp3, if the next file is ogg it just stops at 0:00. If I skip, or fast forward or anything, it will work. Test on a bunch of files transcodec from different disc and in different times. But there is an important twist - it happens in quodlibet
