Public bug reported: Right-click on a quicktime video file (.mov) in Nautilus and choose "properties". Select the "Audio/Video" tab
The "Audio" section shows "N/A" or null values, and there's no "Video" section at all. See first screenshot. Gnome MPlayer can play the file and shows all the correct audio/video information in Details (see second screenshot) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: nautilus 1:3.2.1-0ubuntu3.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-15.26-generic 3.0.13 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-15-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Jan 28 13:20:15 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-12-07 (51 days ago) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 oneiric running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/923038 Title: no audio/video info in Properties for mov files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/923038/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
