After upgrading from Ubuntu 13.04 to Ubuntu 13.10, gedit's icon started
disappearing from the app switcher.
However it does appear when searching applications, and in the gutter
alongside other running apps.

ok, dunno then, it works with the default theme so I will assume it's a
bug in the GNOME icons
