I think this has more to with me trying to make a partion mount on my desktop
with permission for me to use.
mc told me that I did have permission nautilus told me it belonged to root. so
I tried and it crashed.

Thanks for your bug report. The crash looks like a memory corruption.
Could you try to get a valgrind log for it (you can follow the
instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind for that)?

Ok installed valgrind
but what arguments do i give nautilus-cd-burner to copy-disk
to make space for a .iso I had to format my hp windows recovery partition (oh
no)
to ext3 and I seem to only be able to mount as root with root permissions. ?
mc says that it belongs to me? /home/me/Desktop/stuff.
