However, I'm not sure how the icons differ:
I can confirm this behaviour on Edgy. It happens on an upgraded install
on a PC and on a clean install on a mac.
If the display is never allowed to sleep then the screensaver starts up
exactly as you'd expect (on timeout and on ctrl-alt-l). Once the screen
has been allowed to sleep the

appear, even when it's indicated in Nautilus settings (show volumes).
When mounting on /media, icons appear. This is changed from Dapper,

accents into it. If I create the file with file-roller it doesn't fail. It

I initially didn't have any /var/run/console directory at all. I created
the directory and updated /etc/pam.d/common-session as per bug 34063.
After a reboot, g-v-m is now behaving as expected.

I think I mentioned it in the other bug report: I think this is gaim

Oh, never mind, I was using lokheed's Tango Unbashed iconset replacing
tango, that's why I saw something different, sorry I opened this, just
close the bug report.

I have seen that in Firefox and Gimp.
When I select in GIMP Save as and I click Browse for other folders,
there is a tree menu at the left side. In this menu, I have System,
Floppy Disk but Desktop and My home folder are hidden. I can

The mime-type icon for swf files have macromedia on it
Somebody of the team should forward this upstream, maybe they could add

I don't understand, an audio preview of an .ogg file copied to my
desktop works, the same file in another partition (the relevant options
for /etc/fstab are the same: defaults) doesn't. The other partition is
named /music, my user has permission to read and write there, and it's
the Rhythmbox
Fiddling with the file permissions works, even when I left them back to
what they were previously.
