I have the missing about box on an xubuntu edgy amd64. I also have a
xubuntu edgy x86 install on another box that does not have the problem.
Running gnumeric from the command line causes no output on either box
when clicking help - about.

I think the requirement for the 'Applications' category may have been

I have the same problem: my cifs entries in /etc/fstab aren't mounted at
boot. This problem has existed in Dapper for about two weeks, and is
still present after upgrading to Edgy yesterday. A workaround is to add
the line 'mount -a' to /etc/rc.local
I've attempted resize but it just fails to resize an NTFS. I killed off
Windows on an old laptop after that for Edgy.

(3) Create a New Calendar, with these options... Type:On the Web, check

I have a Gentoo system running Gnome 2.16. PDFs generated from my Edgy
machine do not work in Evince on either machine. However if I make the
PDF on my Gentoo machine the PDF works on both machines.

Yes it's still sluggish. It has improved though: the next, previous, and

I don't think so. Evolution is doing something very bad (perhaps
recursing into the directories madly) -- mutt doesn't lock up or die
when accessing that server, so Evo shouldn't either.

Building gdm with ipv6 support makes this problem go away (--enable-
ipv6=yes). Any reason this isn't done by default?

On the latest release of Fiesty pressing Fn+Home or End to modify
the display brightness kills GDM. GDM does automatically restart. This
is a ThinkPad Z61t.

It seems only to happen when Gwget already shows a tooltip and wants to show an
other one.
On Gwget startup, it brings up a tooltip with the text Gwget. If you leave
that one open and a download finishes, Gwget wants to show that in another
tooltip - crash.
I presume it is also a bug in Gwget,

Along similar lines to 48450 and 47005 - when I lock my session, it is
possible for another users to then switch to their account, and upon
logging in X appears to crash, restart, and then the default login
