[Bug 91488] Re: Camera RAW files open with wrong apps
Hmm, might be a new feature on gthumb. I clearly remember gthumb not being able to load such files. Anyways, the default application set to open that file is eog on gnome, and eog just fails. I think that these apps must be removed from the nautilus menu and only allow the apps that specifically say that they support the various RAW formats. At least this will give some incentive to UFRAW/Cinepaint and now gThumb to register for the right mimetypes too, instead of just saying that they simply support TIFF. -- Camera RAW files open with wrong apps https://launchpad.net/bugs/91488 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 91854] Steps to reproduce
Similar problem using an up-to-date Feisty, I will try to describe it exactly: 1) I plug in my camera. 2) a Photo import dialog pops up, I click Ignore. 3) I browse my pics under /media/NO NAME/ with nautilus. 4) I close nautilus. 5) I right-click on the NO NAME icon on the desktop and choose Unmount volume. 6) an error dialog pops up, with title Cannot unmount volume, message Cannot unmount the volume 'NO NAME', and details Cannot remove directory. 7) At this point ls /media shows that there is already no such directory left, though. 8) I click ok, and I can continue as usual, no bad consequences. Good luck, Nicolas. -- Cannot unmount volume: Cannot remove directory https://launchpad.net/bugs/91854 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 92987] Re: libgstbaseutils missing
Thank you for your bug, that's not a distribution bug though. the utils library is used for easy code installation and only totem does that at the moment, there is no reason it breaks something else. The library is also new with 0.10.12 and the name you mention has only be used on CVS. That's not an Ubuntu bug, you have likely broken something when using non official version. ** Changed in: gst-plugins-base0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low Assignee: (unassigned) = Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Unconfirmed = Rejected -- libgstbaseutils missing https://launchpad.net/bugs/92987 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
