Using xingheader instead of xingmux (see comment #17) fixed the problem
for me. It seemed to worked for a while, so I stopped paying attention.
Recently I dug into it again and noticed that the problem reappeared, at
least since January 9th 2007.

Well, the idea to install an old libgtk2.0 wasn't so good after all. It

Sorry, that wasn't very clear.
With the regular gnome terminal without running screen, the mouse
scrolls through the *scrollback* of the terminal (ie what you would
expect since the widget has a scrollbar). It's just running inside
screen that makes it scroll through command history, for me.

Presumably your fonts scaled to 75dpi but displayed on your 96dpi
screen. They were therefore not displayed as an 11pt font but instead
displayed as an 8.5pt font. Now the dpi is presumably detected
correctly, it is displayed, as set, at 11pt.
As you rightly say, there is a matter
In the advance tab of Gimp I can choose printout mode which is very
handy because printout mode differs for me very often:
- print a text file in in draft grayscale mode
- print a picture in in photo color quality
- print a web page in default color mode
- print a document in normal grayscale
Those packages did not come from Ubuntu, you'll have to take your bug
report to the person that made them.

[gutsy] create document-empty file not always works
I haven't got that file but here is the result of apt-get dist-upgrade
log that generated after Iinstall anything as you can see it has save
the pkgs but setup/install them

Could you not recommend users to copy files out of the packaging system,
that's going to create issues for some of them. If you use an unstable
distribution you should be able to deal with breaks or give an hand to
fix the issue probably, recommending hacks is not a constructive way
