are you? page, I found that I cannot move focus away from the city
combo box, and my install is stuck until I dig

In any event, ubiquity is just using a GtkComboBox here; if it isn't
possible to tab out of it, then IMO that's a GTK bug.

On a bottom panel (orientation bottom), click on properties, uncheck the expand
option.
Log out.
Log in.
The panel orientation is top and you can't change it unless you change the
expand option to true.

If panel prperties is selected to be in the Middle (on
Application, Place, System) and then one switches off.
Next time one starts in Ubuntu, this panel comes in
the middle.
I fix it by going to properties..
--then selecting EXPAND

Hi,
I want to mention the problem still occurs on Gusty... In fact I didn't
encounter this bug in Feisty, but since I made a fresh Gusty install,
every time I log in a second time, I get this 'Notification Daemon Error
: notifications won't work error'.
Other symptoms are that my desktop
A sample image isn't necessary. A limit of 1 is indeed set in the
glade files.
Would a boost to 12000 or 15000 work for you? We don't want to set it
too high - gThumb is not optimized to handle huge images.

12000-15000 is not a solution, actually. I think, it should be set to max size,
which may be handled by gThumb.
It handles 16kx4k JPEG pretty well. So, 2^15 - 2^16 should be enough, if you
don't want to set it to very large values.

thousands of files
from several sources to the same destination with the idea to merge all files
in one directory.

I can confirm this bug as well - after installing the updates this morning and
restarting gsd no longer works. Running it in a terminal gives a similar error
to Ryan's.
I suspect that this may have something to do with the capplets update - some
poking around online reveals that its updates
reassigning to gnome-control-center; applications must not dlopen
libraries by their .so symlinks, which are only available in -dev
packages.

Reopened in Gutsy. Today the update for gnome-control-center
(1:2.19.92-0ubuntu3) shipped and broke everything.
