I agree with Nathan, I believed Ubuntu/linux was all about user control and
not been like MS and taking that control away from us. Gutsy was good in
allowing this tinkering to happen, and I am a bit worried that it is now gone
in Hardy. I have also seen this in other areas also.
I just discussed this with Sebastien. nautilus relies on the gvfs gphoto
backend for camera detection, but that does not work properly yet and we
disabled it. Thus we'll switch back to using g-v-m for photo cameras,
which fits better into the current g-v-m dialog anyway. We'll disable

otherwise simply uninstall the package (i think it's something like
