on my t60p 2007-ad1 - clean install, no results, even after reboot.

your keychain. And, upon further investigation, this bug is in
nautilus, not gvfs. Nautilus should be disabling the pointer on the
first click, but it stays active and therefore Nautilus asks gvfs to

when I erase the line in /etc/fstab putting my hard drive as a cdrom and
try to mount it it works fine
this was on a clean intrepid install. or at least, nothing i installed

That's irrelevant though. Nautilus and Gedit are two unrelated pieces of
software. Nautilus is for browsing your filesystem and Gedit is for
viewing and editing text files. The fact that Gedit can't read this text
file isn't a Nautilus problem. The fact that Gedit advertises that it
can view text/p
