It does not make any sense to reopen the bug if the developers disagree.
I think the message was clear. The made a decision. If they render it
invalid we need to accept it, even if we disagree. We are free to use
another Linux. Maybe the decision is reconsidered at some point.

symptoms (i.e. no suspend or hibernate icon after resuming from suspend).

According to Launchpad Janitor (from archive auto-sync), this bug has
been fixed, so status was changed from confirmed to fix released.
However the original bug-report dealt only with the emblem issue, so the
status should in reality be invalid for nautilus-shares and confirmed
for nautilus. I

I have a large PDF text with appendices. I need to switch back and forth

In Jaunty (GNOME 2.26) we have the CD/DVD Creator in the applications
menu. It doesn't show the total size of files. This is not nautilus-cd-
burner, I think it is Brasero though it is still in nautilus.
