I changed the gdm.conf file so the export looked like this:
export LANG LANGUAGE LC_TIME
then I get the following in GDM:
fre okt 9, 4:36 instead of fri oct 9, 4:36PM.
So it's more correct for a swede, and it dropped the PM. But the hours are
still in 12h mode, it should have said 16:36.

the flickering doesn't go away. I have I run gnome-power-manager on the
command line the flickering stops although it complains that the power
manager is already running. after a while of inactivity it starts to

my themes are also gone, i feel it very bad that they are not
compatible. there should be a tool to convert them. i hand-picked ~50
gdm themes what i like and had them randomly come up. it really made me
happy when i was sad it was a good surprise. also i was happy i can use

After I upgraded to Karmic beta from Jaunty, on a MacBookPro 5.5, when I
insert a blank CD the icon in nautilus for the CD/DVD dissappears, there
is not popup reporting that a new blank cd has been inserted, and I
can't unmount the CD, neither from

I used to be able to hit enter to select a user, but now I have to click
