When logging in explicitly though GDM on the first boot after
installation, the keyboard layout option at the login screen defaults
correctly to UK, and I get UK keyboard layout after login.

files, Rythmbox crashed. Deleting Podcast excluding files went fine.

Nothing else shows up.
I have done a complete uninstall and reinstall of gnome-system-tools,

press Esc to send the application to the tray again, with this update on

I have the same problem. I can reproduce it by adding a new ICQ account,
entering my ICQ details (number & password) an enabling the account. I
get the same "network error". This makes empathy unusable for me.
1. add ICQ account
2. enter account details
3. enable account
4. -> network erro
As I said, Nautilus will automatically fall back to C when the locale
can't be found. But when the specified locale is found it will of course
use that one. So you are using the C collation rules instead of the
en_US.UTF-8 ones, and they are obviously different.

right side look for your user-name to the right of that is a red circle click

Seems to work fine. I have edited some images, removed some versions and used
the background function.
The F-Spot screensaver also works as expected.

Hi.
I just updated from Jaunty to Karmic. I always have my notebook's display
brightness set as low as possible.
But now when the GDM login screen is shown it always switches to full
brightness...

Sorry, somewhat recently this bug went away. I was trying KDE, and
LXDE, maybe one of them reset what was causing the issue. Didn't notice
until recently that nautilus wasn't crashing.. I'm attaching home in
the hope that it might still have a record of what happened.
