After some extra troubleshooting I found out that I needed to kill X. (
SysRq + Alt + K) Then I can login. In another words the first login
freeze the system and needs to kill then you can login again.

users solve problems. I can see it causing additional problems, however,
where users are asked to provide certain logs, can't find them in the
GUI log viewer and need to dig in to the command line (or navigate to

directory creator to use. It's just knowledge of the code that could be
problematic.

option, but if it were just enabled in the screen saver, you wouldn't
want the pc to stop playing music just because you're away from the

Rhythmbox will no longer play my mp3s after trying to play a song that I
deleted from my Music folder. I forgot to remove it from my list of
imported music, and when Rhythmbox tried to play it, nothing happened.

i don't know if this will help but i just added a new user (already had
root and my current user) via users-admin and it basically wiped my
/etc/group file. it had 2 lines left in it. luckily i was able to boot
in recovery mode and copy the backup at /var/backup/group.bak so that i
could boot

decrease to 2-3 MB/s.

which is set in the preferences for the library folder of your music but

Are new users allowed to confirm bugs?
This particular one has been bugging me for ages. There is no fix and the only
way to get around it is to install Gthumb.
It is something so basic to be missing. MASSIVE oversight.
I've seen this bug before I think, being sidelined like many bugs here
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we tried to backport some karmic
packages and some dependencies were not met, so could you please run:
$ sudo aptitude install libglib2.0-0=2.20.1-0ubuntu2.1
