Accessing the root of a local samba share (list of about 8 files) does

I un installed, deleted all empathy configuration files and that
mission-control folder.. Then re installed empathy. No way
I am using wvdial to connect to internet and not gnome network manager.

The problem arrived since two day, is reproductible each time i want
fastforward or rewind (I can't move the cursor),.
Note that I let install the updates coming from ubuntu.
And to recreate the bug, just launch rhythmbox!

An interesting note Steve, whenever this happens I simply close and
reopen the program and find that a square is already missing that I know
I filled in. I've had the program do this on a consistent basis now so

My icon never appears -- it looks just like a terminal icon and there
is no pulldown menu.
(My volume control icon has a similar problem in that it also has the
terminal icon.)
If I run gnome-power-manager as root, the icon appears, but the pulldown

@Draycen - Hmm, I had a look at the latest gnome-panel .deb package but
it needs 35 dependency packages installing as well and the too scary
light has come on, as this is now my only functioning Karmic system at
the moment and I need it for doing real work on so I'm a bit worried
about breakage...
First i didnt notice that theres a problem about totem in my system,
when i wanted to save a youtube video, then save it as as .flv filename,
but when i play open the file a message saying internal data stream
error ...just asking am i in the right procedure to save and play it as
flv file? thanks
