I just saw this problem on Jaunty with Evolution 2.26.1. I don't know
if it's the same underlying bug, but it's the same symptom.
Evolution crashed and disappeared. Some time after I restarted it, it

I also did not change the gdm theme in karmic. After my initial upgrade
from karmic - lucid on 2010-03-05, gdm had switched over to the new
theme. At some point shortly thereafter, a dist-upgrade reverted that
change and I was left with the karmic gdm theme.

1. (re)insert usb stick, it will be mounted automatically
2. unmount it
sudo umount /dev/sdb1
3. .. so we can format it

Yes, impossible to look for marina and the diamonds for example,
either in the search bar or in the new Ubuntu Music Store. I can
understand that the problem can be hard to fix though it is only one
radiobox to check by default in the layout options (see answer 41 by
Christophe Mehay)... But
I upgraded to rhythmbox 0.12.7-0ubuntu8 rebooted the computer and
unfortunately get the same error when trying to drag a song to the

Accessing the text version of the path is sometimes necessary when you want to
copy in a email the full path to a directory. I even found out recently (I
don't have Windows at home) that although Win7 is having something similar to
the button you can easily toggle it to text to copy and paste

thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though user sessions and
login screen have different configurations, the login screen doesn't
change its configuration any time any user change a setting

right, what I meant is an install without too many change, it's
basically a fresh beta1 install I've upgraded and used for bug testing.
to test this one I've changed the screensaver setting, removed the
session applet, restarted the session, checked that the indicator-
session-service was not

GUI changes AFTER a product has released are always controversial.
You'll get less complaints by building a whole new Window Manager than
by changing a small usability item. Whatever gets released is pretty
much what you're stuck with, unless you can keep making minor usability
changes/tweak over
