Binary package hint: nautilus
Whenever I attempt to open /usr/bin, Nautilus crashes (undetected by
Apport). So far I have been unable to reproduce this behavior when
opening any other folders (even if they contain a lot of files like
/usr/bin), but attempting to open

Same here on a ThinkPad T42, running KDE.
The screen gets dimmed when manually starting PowerDevil through the
Service Manager.

Two of the bugs marked as duplicates of this bug should be reopened and
reassigned to the package responsible for the System menu which contains
the item About Ubuntu, because that item does not need to open the help
browser. It could instead open an About dialog - like every other About
menu
