correctly again.

Oh, yeah... As a test, I created a jabber account for both of us, added
them as a contact and was able to chat with them just fine.
Also, in Empathy on my present computer, I have no problem
seeing/chatting with AIM contacts I created years ago on another
computer.

I just installed KDE to see what happens when I boot into it. Everything
works fine in KDE except gnome applications. Firefox and Transmission
are still showing the same rendering issues, while Konqurer and all
native KDE aps show properly rendered fonts and themes. Also I cannot
load certain aps
I forgot to say Bug #652731 shows that this happens with XFCE too. So
the problem is related to both Gnome and XFCE, which means it can be
narrowed down to something that is common between those two desktop
environments and the core i7 x58 with newer Nvidia graphics card
combinations.

Hello - I am unable to change the calendar 'work week' view to seven days,
highlighting 7am to 10 pm in the preferences.
I was able to do this before the major Ubuntu upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 that

On reflection, my suggestion at #10 would be more appropriate for a
forum, but it might also give bug trackers a clue, because clearly each
version of 2.30.3 was compiled from different source code.

No effect when unchecking Compress weekends in month view
Albert, I don't think they will *decide* not to repair the bug. It's a
pretty obvious one. It still seems to affect a small number of users,
though, so it might not get the priority we would like. But these sort
of problems often get fixed by the next release.

I can confirm this bug report. It's affecting me as well. Installing
