I looked at this some today. First, the developers haven't released an
extensions tarball for 3.3.
More importantly, the current version of Epiphany in Precise doesn't
even support extensions but that may be a temporary omission. You may

wallpaper, but if the file is not accessible to the lightdm user it
still couldn't display
