I used Xubuntu 11.10 + Unity. Had separate layout for each window. I had
English, Russian and Spanish layouts, and every time I changed windows,
the layout indicator would get incorrect. Everyone who used more than 2
layouts knows how annoying it is to cycle through them.

Open rhythmbox, disable all plugins apart from Zeitgeist and Ubuntu One,
go to Ubuntu One music store, select any album, play a preview song and
while it is playing try clicking play on another preview song. Resuts in
crash with the following error message:

The same happened to me with Firefox. Instead of showing Firefox's preferences,
I get Dropbox's.
If, however, instead of pressing Return to select the Preferences in the HUD
dropdown, I click the selection with my mouse, then it works properly! I hope

launch a terminal via 'Shortcuts Custom Shortcuts' in 11.10 and GNOME

Just tested (by having XChat-GNOME open before I opened Empathy; since
Empathy still can't handle alternative IRC nick names this prevents IRC
from starting) and the CPU load remains normal until the chat window
opens. Does that answer your question?

Edit- that came off a little harsh, sorry about that. Maybe we could
figure out what needs to be done to fix this in the correct way? Does
anybody have suggestions on where a good place to start would be? I'm
not a great programmer (yet), but it would be great to see what the
right way to fix this
