Discussed with Oliver on IRC. I reverted the /vendor/firmware and
/system/firmware lookup bits, but that was a no-op change after all as
lxc-android-cfg diverts the rules.
There is no need for diversion there, BTW: lxc-android-cfg could just
ship (or create in postinst) an empty
Which version of gnome-system-monitor are you running? You can check it in the
menu by clicking Help-About.

that gvfs-backends is not installed by default in ubuntu-touch.
it's not a the moment but it might be in the futur, please don't add
extra goa depends to Ubuntu default desktop/unity session, that backend
should be split in its own binary

This happens to me with google chrome, but not with chromiun-browser.
If i make sure all google chrome processes are killed and restart gnome-
keyring-d, it doesn't happen any more.

Edit to #3: oops, in my case it isn't the shutdown dialog per se, but
the dialog whatever it is called, that open e.g. when pressing laptop's
power button (the one that shows all five options: lock / suspend /
hibernate / restart / shutdown). But it sounds like the same sort of
bug.

My problem seems similar, except that in my case it seems to
automatically opt for the shutdown option. Happens once in a while
too, but not consistently, so really hard to figure out how to reproduce
it.

Worked for me, too. I ran
$ sudo apt-get purge evolution
$ sudo apt-get autoclean
I then installed evolution (from the Software Centre) and restarted (to
ensure all the Evo' related daemons were restarted).
