Public bug reported:
systemd kills rsyslog as one of the first jobs. So after that no other
jobs are logging that they are shutting down and what they are doing
during shutdown.
The default should be shutting down logging at the latest possible point
in time when shutting down a machine.
**
Problem occurs on a pristine 14.04.4:
$ uname -rvi
4.2.0-34-generic #39~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 11 11:38:02 UTC 2016 x86_64
gvfs and nautilus report versions as per comment #5
Workaround is OK

Hey Mario,
After the 3.20.0 tarball and the lifting of the hard code freeze I'm
intending to backport a few more patches indeed.

I experienced the exact same issue as in the description. My problem
seemed to be caused by the system auto-logging into the guest account on
boot. After I disabled that feature the issue was resolved for my main
account

I had this problem on Ubuntu 14.04. Removing the ICC Profile, as
suggested in comment #14, solved the problem for me.
I'm also wondering where that profile came from... Why do some users
have it and others don't? I don't ever remember intentionally installing
or making changes to ICC profiles.

That needs to be adjusted in rsyslog.service.
** Package changed: systemd (Ubuntu) => rsyslog (Ubuntu)
** Summary changed:
- systemd kills rsyslog as one of the first jobs, preventing logging of the
other jobs shutting down
+ rsyslog shuts down too early, preventing logging of the other jobs

Changed the title to reflect the upstream bug report, and re-opened the
yelp (ubuntu) task. Even if we work around the problem with absolute
paths to images in ubuntu-docs, other packages which rely on yelp might
be affected of this issue.

why is this marked high?
Ubuntu One is just SSO now - probably not what it was when the bug was
first raised.

I have several pdf files that when opened by evince, they appear to be fine
until I try to print them. When I do, they print with the colors inverted (the
printout looks like a photograph negative). This color inversion also occurs
when viewed in the print preview
