Input device does not
I would like to see the difference before and after the machine sleeps.
Please:
1. Make sure keypresses are working first.
2. Open a Terminal and run: journalctl -f
3. Hit Enter several times in the Terminal to make some blank space.
Keep the window open.
3. Sleep and then wake the machine.
Also if you have any gnome-shell extensions installed, please try
uninstalling those and reboot.

Desktop icons
I can easily reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 20.04 with right and left clicking on
the desktop to open the context menu alot. On many different machines and
virtual machines.
This does NOT happen for me when gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons is
deactivated.

You were absolutely right, after i removed the extensions, the desktop
became snappy and responsive.
