Gunnar, that new release sounds like bug fixes to me. There are several
other bug fixes in that release we need anyway.

Upstream just released ibus 1.5.26. I tested it in jammy, and it proved
to solve this issue.
I'm about to upload to unstable. Maybe somebody can decide if it can be
considered a bug fix release which can be synced without a FFe request:

Toggling the extension seems to be enough to make the icons appear. So
yes this is bug 1963756.

Desktop Icons NG doesn't display icons in Xorg
Looks like this is a temporary problem where the new version of
gjs/mozjs is too stringent to allow the old syntax used in gnome-shell
41. This has been fixed already gnome-shell 42 but a workaround for DING
to support older gnome-shell versions is probably a good idea.

Yeah, I too think it looks like bug fixes only.
But there is a problem: Salsa's pipeline shows a build failure:

But since I already had built successfully in a jammy PPA:

It is the LG on Displayport or Hdmi that stays black. I have noticed
that when in a dual monitor there is a VGA port connected it is always
the VGA port that is recognized in both Linux and Window; I think that
this is the characteristic of the X86

Thank you for your report!
However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate a useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:
no debug symbol
systemd in Build-Depends seems to be it. Thanks Mitsuya and Jeremy!
Uploaded again and keeping my fingers crossed.

Want to mention that we currently have a belt-and-braces solution in
jammy. There is both my simplistic dependency:
https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/gnome-control-
center/-/commit/f685f0a6
And then Marco's fix which makes the just mentioned dependency unneeded:
Hi,
> No package 'systemd' found
Simply, is it because ibus version 1.5.26 now requires systemd?
https://github.com/ibus/ibus/pull/2377
- Salsa CI: it seems that systemd is not installed (just docker instance?)
- PPA builder: systemd is installed
- Local: normally systemd is installed
