Using Gaim 1.5 in Kubuntu Dapper. I want Gaim to open URLs in Konqueror.
However, if I choose Konqueror, it will still open the URL with Firefox.
If Firefox is not installed, Gaim will produce a pop up informing that
it cannot find the 'firefox'

I set the setting in Gaim's Preferences, under Browser. No matter which
browser I choose from that menu, it will always open firefox regardless.

Or maybe it does respect the KDE settings. I changed the KDE settings to
use the default browser rather than a custom defined browser (which I
set to Firefox), and now it's opening URLs in whatever the Gaim settings
are set to. Guess it's not a bug, then.

I can confirm this. I'm using Ubuntu 6.06 in a really large coprorate
network with over 100 separate domains and hundreds of thousands
machines. It takes me nearly 15 minutes to cancel a constant stream of

I am on a network with many Apple computers running Mac OS X. These
computer all turn on sharing through the bonjour protocol. When I click
on Places-Network Servers I can see all of the computers that share
themselves. If I then click on the

My gnome-session magically resumed operation after about 10 to 30
minutes. Or at least the programs I started showed up. So just having
