view is that inserted media (included USB media) sould be treated just
as any other type of file. The context menu should include 'Open with

In my opinion forwarding upstream problems upstream is one of the jobs
of the distribution maintainer. Also I don't think that rejected is
the right category for good idea if we had the time -- it should be
enhancement or priority dogwash or some other thing that says yes

Latest edgy update has fixed this problem for evolution-- it now runs
fine. (The update included evolution and xorg packages though, so still
not clear which was at fault). Glade-2 still gives the X error, though.

This is my case, not sure what my point is really , except that
Ubuntu/Kubuntu Dapper is not usable for me because the performance is
way too slow.
If I mount an encrypted drive with a large mp3 collection on it ,and then start
Krusader , cpu usage goes from the 10-20 range to the 95-100% range
The calendar seems to be imported ok, but Evolution now crashes when the
month of june is displayed in the screen (the small calendar on top of
the screen).
It does not crash at startup anymore, but then again when I reported the
bug it was June, so june was displayed at startup...

I'm willing to mark this confirmed because it was pushed upstream, but I
really think this bug belongs to a different package- probably bash, or
alternatively whatever controls desktop sounds.

dialog to close. I see this behavior in 6.06 (Dapper).
After playing with this for a bit, I believe I see what is happening:
As I type, the current path is being interpreted so that icons in that
