was similar, but my logout (Quit) dialog has only logout, reboot, etc;
not hibernate and suspend.

I can confirm this (up-to-date edgy) -- the missing pixel line is on the
left (not on the right) here.
Not sure where this comes from. The icons themselves look fine, for
example /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/deskbar-applet.png
A clue: maybe the default icon size for the dialog is not a
I'd prefer it, if libsexy would just link against libenchant and
wouldn't use that crazy dlopen thing. I don't like to

menu doesn't get refreshed after the item is added to it, so it doesn't
show up. Running Alacarte reveals that it has been added to the menu
correctly, but the main menu doesn't reflect this until the next
some items will not appear in menus. You can try just running killall
gnome-panel to refresh the menus.

I have the same problem every login. I dont know if this helps but I
have noticed when I change login style to 'Plain' the error message
mentioned appeares, but I get the themed login screen, and when I choose
themed style, it gives the error message but loads Gnome Desktop
Manager.

how do I debug gnome's nautilus syscalls? If I launch strace nautilus I
only get the starting output, once nautilus is loaded there's no more

The applet works for me on my t60p, but I added the panel to the applet
by right clicking the panel and selecting CPU Frequency Scaling
Monitor. I select the CPU index in the right click preferences menu.

Since the behavior has been seemingly unpredictable, I took some time
today trying to reliably reproduce it. Here's what I have come up with.

Ok, I installed it from python2.4-dev, and reran gnome-session-remove
nautilus; nautilus, now it gives me
nautilus: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/gnome-
vfs-2.0/modules/libcdda.so: undefined symbol: gnome_vfs_uri_get_basename
when I try to open the CD again.

It was a symlinked libcdda.so, where can I get a working one? The
package libgnome-vfs-2.0 does not have one, the original libcdda.so came
from libgnome-vfs-common, and there's one from alsaplayer-common. I'll
make a new symlink to that and see if it works.

alsaplayer-common as the only packages with libcdda.so. See if there
can be one included with libgnome-vfs-2.0 itself.

Currently the default is whatever have been used last, more or less.
It's a (minor) nuisance when you have PDF with very different page
sizes.
If you open a 100x100mm flyer zoom it at 400% and then try to open a 2600x950mm
kakemono it doesn't work on a 32bits CPU. You can try to open evince
