last upgrade to metacity 1:2.14.5-0ubuntu1 desktop freezes after a few
minutes. Using Alt+F2 and killall metacity resolves the problem

Yes. When I press the sync button on my Zire, the gnome-pilot
progressbar appears and informs me that the EAddress starts and
succesfully ends. Then it says that ECalendar starts and hangs. In the
meantime two gnome-pilot settings windows open, and a Bug-Buddy window.

in the status bar and you mark the same (not sure about others) folder

I'll have to test this out when I get home from work. I suspect it is
still a problem - at least under dapper. I will also try upgrading to
edgy, to see if that helps.

Hi, my card reader used to work fine on Dapper but it doesn't on Edgy.

R50p. Everything went fine so far, but when trying to boot Windows again
through Grub, i immediately got a bluescreen with a STOP 0x007B

I am having the same issue. Using latest Edgy, Gaim is started
automatically in my session. After reboot, it crashes. Here's the bug

Making /etc/ldap/ldap.conf also world readable fixes this problem.
But this still means that anyone can see the password to connect to the
ldap-server.
Can't this be fixed by making gnome-screensaver use nscd or something.
How does sudo and others take care of this?

After shutting down, and restarting Edgy Eft normally (whilst GAIM was
still running before the shutdown), I am informed that GAIM crashed. The
reason for this crash in unknown due to the system going down when this
crash supposedly occurred.
