Darn! I cannot believe that such an outright bug is marked as low
urgency. This should be bumped-up and escalated to a medium to serious
issue. Abiword is the only wordprocessor that supports grammar check in
ubuntu. So this is going to affect general user experience and handicap
users.

I have the same problem with nautilus in Feisty.
It appears to be a problem with all the columns. At least I checked name
and size. Both column widths go back to their default size whenever I
restart nautilus.

if dragging through the empty space, where message should be displayed, it

could you installed libglib2.0-0-dbg libgtk2.0-0-dbg gnome-session-
dbgsym (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash), use the failsafe
terminal option, run valgrind and attach the log to the bug? It might
show an error even if you don't get the crash

I think the bug is confirmed by the screenshot shown on the dup.
It seems to be related by how the messages are shown when the panel is at the
bottom instead of the top.
