[Bug 98876] Re: labels PDF document a microsoft word document
After examining the evince source code and generating a few test pdf files I don't think that this is a bug in evince at all. The program just reports the internal document title given to it by the pdf file itself. Documents generated by document converters or from software not designed to properly generate pdf files may incorrectly set the original file name as the pdf document title or somthing. Note that the internal document title is not necessarily the same as the filename. It is up to the person that creates the file or the file conversion software to set the correct document title and not up to the evince developers to figure out what they mean. -- labels PDF document a microsoft word document https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/98876 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 103963] [apport] alacarte crashed with AttributeError in split()
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: alacarte I was trying to add a new icon to the menu by right clicking on Applications and selecting Edit Menus. I added the icon (for bittorrent) in the Internet section, but when I closed and saved, it wouldn't actually display in the menu. So I went back to edit again, noticed the check box wasn't checked (although I was sure I had checked it before), and checked it. But I closed it and it still wouldn't show in the menu. I went back in, and the box wasn't checked again. I moved the bittorrent icon down the list (with the Move Down button), and every time I did, the check box would become unchecked. Then I tried pressing Revert, and that's when it crashed and generated the big report. [Bug 103630] 20x20 new icons not in index.theme
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tango-icon-theme I reported this bug in tangerine-icon-theme (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tangerine-icon- theme/+bug/102581) and was already fixed, but it affects tango as well. As of this week, the new GTK icons have been included in Tango. If we go to /usr/share/icons/Tangerine/20x20/actions, for example, we have the new apply, cancel, OK, yes and no icons. However, said folder is not mentioned in index.theme so the 16x16 versions of apply, cancel and OK are applied instead of the 20x20 versions, and the new yes and no icons are not applied at all. Can you include 20x20/actions in the directory list, and this below: [20x20/actions] Size=20 Context=Actions Type=Fixed ...for the icons to be properly shown? Thanks in advance. ** Affects: tango-icon-theme (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- 20x20 new icons not in index.theme https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103630 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for tango-icon-theme in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 103634] [apport] rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_is_a() when I start playing a song with edirol UA-25 USB sound device

[Bug 103633] [apport] gpilot-applet crashed with SIGSEGV
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-pilot Looks like a repeat of bug #103140. I installed Feisty yesterday and converted my Evolution data from Dapper version of Evo. Today I have been trying to set-up a Palm IIIc to hot- sync with Evolution. The documentation for this is poor but I got there in the end. I can get all of the common things, except Todo lists to synchronize. When gnome pilot gets to the syncing of Todo things stop and the Palm complains that its connection has dropped, meanwhile the Gnome Pilotsync continues on happily trying to sync Todo items. The only way to stop it is to reboot or log out. When I log out the Gnome Pilotsync generated the crash. [Bug 103651] [Feisty] gnome-terminal crash with long japanese input (uim/scim anthy)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal Update somewhere around Apr 5th seems to have fixed performance issues with tab change / font scaling, but simultaneously introduced a more annoying problem: Any attempt to type a longer (more than one word) Japanese text string using uim/anthy will cause the terminal to instantly exit with SIG 11 (also killing all programs launched from terminal). Using the alternative scim/anthy (which I guess is more of a standard nowadays) will cause the terminal to become completely unresponsive. A quick random testing seems to indicate this is anthy specific, using other uim/scim input modes has no similar repercussions. Input to other applications than gnome-terminal seem to work fine. Note: This is the first generated report. Using kernel 2.6.20-14-generic has not changed anything.
