[Bug 109523] Evolution disconnects from exchange server when started
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution When I start evolution on login (it's in my startup menu) the window opens and the first thing it does is disconnect from Exchange server. The exchange server is the mmm.cern.ch microsoft exchange server. I have to wait (few minutes) until it is done and then click on the connection icon on the bottom left to reconnect. That then works. If I don't wait and try to cancel the disconnection and reconnect it doesn't. The only way out then is evolution --force-shutdown and restart. Then evolution starts being already disconnected (judging from the icon) and I can reconnect. This is new with 2.10.1. Previously I had whichever version was distributed with Edgy and I didn't get these problems. [Bug 108771] Re: Totem stops buffering and won't play a movie stream if the initial cache fill fails
I use Feisty Fawn. Totem version 2.18.1. I believe the cache fill fails because the progress bar on the bottom scrolls and stops before it hits 100% for the initial stream load. The same thing occurs when the network stream is unable to keep up the bitrate as fast as the movie progresses. IE: it pauses to recache the stream during playback. However, when the movie has already started to play subsequent pauses appropriately wait util the cache fills back up and then continue. It almost appears as if the initial load has a timeout on it. I trigger the bug by loading a HD (480p) movie trailer off of Apple's Quicktime movie trailer site. I don't always hit it, just sometimes. Once again, mplayer doesn't exhibit this issue. -- Totem stops buffering and won't play a movie stream if the initial cache fill fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108771 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Specifically, I can now do the following: - I open a big pdf file using Evince - I select a range of pages 1-4 - I select only even pages to print and I get the expected result, that is, only pages 2 and 4 are printed. [Bug 60863] Re: Save session option gets stuck ON
Sebastian, When I reported this issue, I just saw the message dialog Your session has been saved every time I shut down or rebooted and thoguht it was because I've fiddled with the Save session option in System-Preferences-Sessions-Session Options so that it somehow got stuck. After clicking Ok on that message, I had to make the shut down/restart one more time for it to go into effect. Whatever I did - enabled or disabled that option, I got the same message at shut down/reboot. Hence the heading text in this bug report. Afterwards I discovered that this Your session has been saved was not connected to the save session option after all, but happened every time the Skype window was open on the desktop. Even later I discovered this also is true for Gaim. I have not really tried with all sorts of other application windows. But if these windows are closed - even just to the system tray - I don't get the save session message. So I now expect this to be connected to Gnome rather than Ubuntu or Skype. I can alter the heading accordingly if you want. -- Save session option gets stuck ON https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/60863 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I think this is a major bug that should've been eliminated right away, this is plain amazing, people not being able to unmount their external usb hdds is a very important bug! [Bug 108283] Re: Rhythmbox leaks memory (possible caused by daap)
I filed a bug on rhythmbox on bugzilla as well (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432886), and according to James Doc Livingston, this is a bug in gst-plugins-good (see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407057) which has already been solved in cvs. Now, if you want me to post the new log anyway, please say so, otherwise I assume the bug report on bugzilla solves this (I'm sorry, but I'm no programmer so I can't do anything to fix this, all I can do is complain, and try to complain properly so that someone else can fix it...) best regards Indriði -- Rhythmbox leaks memory (possible caused by daap) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108283 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
