Yes, it is fully reproducible, even if random. You cannot move 20 mails
without losing any, and sometimes even moving one at a time leads to
loss.
Maybe the problem is related to Courier IMAP, but other clients on the
same server, and even from the same client do not show this behaviour.

well I tested cpu monitoring with movie but average is 10 - 30%. At
random intervals video drop-outs occur with 50-100% cpu utilisation,
sudden and flat.

I can confirm this with an Apple MacBook and remote control. Closing the
lid initiates DPMS Off, pressing buttons on the remote (mapped to
XF86Media* multimedia keys) causes DPMS on.
