That things change after restarting dbus is probably because something
goes wrong when dbus restarts. Afterwards, I don't see not-mounted
devices in Computer, like card readers or unmounted hard drives. I guess

I'm very surprised that the fix for this hasn't made feisty-updates.
I have several USB devices that I could unmount/eject just fine from the
right-clock menu in Edgy but they are immediately remounted after
being ejected in Feisty. Ways of fixing this so I can safely remove

It doesn't matter whether I'm in root or not.
Usually it doesn't work. With root, it works more often. But many times
it won't work with root either.
Would SCIM have a conflict with Nautilus?

BTW, I'm using Ubuntu 7.04. I have Gnome, KDE and XFCE installed, but I

when I tried playing a dvd in vlc media player i got the same
problem.this probably isn't a bug in totem. Maybe it has something to do
with the custom ubuntu cd I made with the program Reconstructor.
Anyways, if someone could find out exactly why this is happening that'd
be great.
