Switching the restricted drive OFF solved the problem. Switching the
user does not freeze the computer anymore. The X server restarts and
GDM window shows up.
Even with the -16 kernel is everything fine.

Hi,
I use Feisty Fawn with a Ati X1400 (driver was installed via envy, Ati
Driver 8.37.6). I use totem-xine. The Error occurs every time i want to
start totem, when i want to play a video the same error occurs

i just did an upgrade(edgy to feisty) to another desktop machine,
this machine was upgraded from dapper to edgy before...
the above bugs behavior, can be seen on this machine too.
