[Bug 125761] Re: constant problems communicating with exchange backend process
Hi, Sorry I missed those steps, When I create an email I will add all of the people I am sending to, generally with one person in the to, and the rest in the CC box. When I send messages to many people (generally at least 8) the email addresses are searched fine from the global address book until I hit a large number. At that point I am unable to search the users any longer and when I alt-tab back to the main evolution window I will have an error saying that evolution is unable to communicate with the exchange backend process. I then find that I am unable to fetch new emails etc until I restart evolution. I would have expected that the email client would be able to find the additional users in the GAL and the exchange process would not die. I can confirm this bug (Ubuntu 7.04). Even though it doesn't normally put my password in full view my typing is likely to go where it's not intended which is bad in several ways. I would expect this dialog to grab the keyboard so the typing doesn't go anywhere else (either maliciously or accidentally.) I'm not sure if modal covers that but modal would be an improvement. [Bug 123365] Re: Two instances of 7z in archive type menu in file-roller
Ah I've worked it out. One's for the p7zip package (which provides the p7zip command) and the other's for the p7zip-full package (which provides the 7z command), but I think they both use the 7z command. -- Two instances of 7z in archive type menu in file-roller https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123365 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 126057] Switching visualisation screen in fullscreen mode doesnt work correctly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox I have a two screen setup. When using the visualtion plugin, there is a little combo box for picking which screen to appear on (i dont know whether this exists or not on a single screen setup). Having the visualisation running in fullscreen, and then switching the option to change screens doesnt work correctly. There are at least 2 ways it fails, on switch on my setup will cause the window to move to the correct screen, but it wont be fullscreen, and the visualistaion becomes invisible. Switching the other way just causes nothing to happen. However it is possible to workaround by switching to embedded mode and back to fullscreen. [Bug 85886] Re: gdmchooser breaks gnome-switch-user
Hi there! Apologies if not posting in the right place! I (don't know how) set up the gdm chooser and I get the same mistake: You do not seem to be logged in on the console Starting a new login only works correctly on the console I am using Ubuntu Feisty fawn on a Dell inspiron 1501. If possible i would like to know how to go back to the original configuration so that i don't have to make use of the chooser Is it possible to disable it? Can you please provide some example code to reproduce the error? And what do you mean by 'not highlighted as it should be'?
