I couldn't reproduce this issue using Hardy Heron, i can without any trouble
load the images in a given mail without having to change the preferences from
"Never load images from the internet", a simple Ctrl+I do the job here, via
"view -> Load images" menu works also.

That comment was perhaps a bit confusing. Really after using this tool I find
that the algorithm simply needs to be adjusted. I have found that it will only
work unless the eyes are perfectly red. If there is pink, orange, or anything
other than red, it just leaves it alone and changes the red p

An update to this issue, in case it's still being tracked.
I updated to Gusty Gibbon about a week ago. The bug, unfortunately hasn't gone
away. My Gusty Gibbon install is up-to-date, and the latest GStreamer packages
are at versions 10.14 and 10.6, so either:
1) Rhythmbox is still picking up old
I haven't used firefox extensively enough to know if it happens. I'll

There is a recommends on python-beagle which means that it'll be
installed by default on hardy and can be removed by users not wanting to
use beagle, closing the bug
