[Bug 196033] Re: Cannot take screen shot if Drop Down menu is dropped
I can confirm this bug. When any of the drop down menu is present (i.e. menu is out and dropped), the print screen button does nothing when pressed. When I undrop the menu and press the print screen button, it shows the print screen dialog box to save the printer screen. ** Changed in: gnome-utils (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- Cannot take screen shot if Drop Down menu is dropped https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196033 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-utils in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 196040] [NEW] Zoom Level Menu shows empty space if window is docked to top of desktop
Public bug reported: If the evince viewer window is docked @ the top of the desktop screen and you click the Zoom Level drop down, the drop down menu has a bunch of empty space at the bottom. Steps to reproduce: - In a default Ubuntu install, login and open a PDF - Move the Evince window down so it is not near the top of the screen - Click the Zoom Level drop down Result: All Zoom sizes and options are displayed correctly. - Now move the Evince window to the top of the screen so that the Title bar is touching the top panel. (see screenshot.png attached for example) - Click the Zoom Level drop down Result: Zoom Level drop down pops up, and shows a bunch of empty space under it. It appears that the extra space is equal to the amount of the menu that is covered under the top panel bar. Expected: Instead of popping UNDER the top panel bar, pop the menu up with the top of the menu just under the title bar... i think this would fix the extra space problem? Note: I cannot provide a screen shot of the bad behavior due to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-utils/+bug/196033 Contact me if you need help. [Bug 195788] Re: Evolution 2.21.92 (hardy) crashes when attaching MS-Office files
thank you, Effenberg. Unfortunately we are still missing some debug packages. from the offending thread, I can see we do not have resolution to the Evo* libraries, specifically the E-D-S-related ones. Please install either e-d-s .dbg, or *all* individual debug libraries (libcamel, libebook, libecal, libedata*, etc). Also, interestingly, libg* symbols did not get resolved on the backtrace. I do not know why, since I can see the affected debug libraries being loaded. Ah well. I think I can live without the libg* symbols, at least for now, but we *do* need the evolution libraries completely resolved. The bt full will, then, allow me to follow the code. Also, please do not forget to give us he output of 'uname -a'. Thank you again for your prompt response. p.s. (I wonder if localisation is playing a role here... [Bug 195991] Re: nautilus crashes on media preview
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 195119] Re: [hardy]GDM segfaults after settings are changed in Language Support
[Bug 196094] Re: Nautilus crash when using Trash
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instuctions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- Nautilus crash when using Trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196094 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 194665] Re: Error transferring track when copying audio-cd music to ipod from 2nd cd device
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ .
