First load
I am also seeing gnome-system-monitor showing inacurate Memory usage all
around. The Line Graph shows less then 50% usage and the Pie Graph shows
33% usage but when I view memory usage in TOP I get a very diffrent
result. A much lower result of free memory.

you maximise the gnome system monitor window. If you click restore or
the un-maximise button, CPU load goes back to normal levels.

Moreover, I have noticed that the process that takes up all CPU when
gnome-system-monitor is enlarged is Xorg.

I figured out the problem!
Evolution crashes when trying to retreive the incorrectly archived items from
public folders.
The reason why it crashed at startup was that the broken public folder was
added to my favorites. It seems to be a new feature of evolution exchange
plugin to display

I'm having this problem although I am able to mount the cds / dvds
through Dolphin although the first time it did ask me for my root
password. If I try using gnome mount:

Yep I still have the problem (and some more) on Hardy, see screenshot.
It lists my /boot partition, even though I did not mount it (It's a left
over from when I experimented having a dedicated /boot partition... but
I don't use it anymore, now I just leave /boot on the root partition).

Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed

The updated package fixes thw white screen issue on user-switch, but it
doesn't correct it when windows appear on the inactive users desktop.
For example, if I pop a USB drive or a CD in to my computer, Nautilus
opens a window on the desktop of every user logged in. When you switch

I encounter the same problem.
A new user on my machine is not affected.
The problem with my account just started a few days after the upgrade (I
was playing with deskop effects and the proprietray ATI drivers as well
with gconf-editor for the panel settings). Before that, it worked fine.
