I just tune into this discussion. Got the update using apt-get to
2.22.1.1 on hardy as of today. Evolution should connect to an exchange
server.
As of now, Evolution crashes after a short time. Any editing messages
are lost. The program just hangs, and if it was started from the command

I backed up the .gnome2/f-spot/ directory and then moved it, and started
f-spot, and then closed the import window without importing anything,
and then closed f-spot. It required Force Quit again. This seemed a
little surprising to me, especially when another user could close f-spot
just fine.
A new profile doesn't see to have this extension installed. So I guess
it is not installed by default despite the fact I don't ever remember
installing it. So Alexander is right.

I can confirm the bug on Hardy intel 32bits, up to date and using the
proposed repositories.
In my case the affected symptom is a few applets (most notably the trash
icon) disappearing from panels. The problem persists even after several

Recently Compiz Fusion stopped working on my computer (Ubuntu 8.04
Hardy). Whenever I tried to re-enable it, a message appeared saying that
Visual Effects could not be enabled. I discovered the reason was
Metacity compositing had somehow been enabled. I definitely did not
enable Metacity
Got same problem here and I solved it, by copy / linking:
ln -s /etc/ldap.conf /etc/libnss-ldap.conf

ln -s /etc/ldap.conf /etc/pam_ldap.conf
For me, I copy the /etc/libnss-ldap.conf + /etc/pam_ldap.conf from an
old System, so I cant compare if these links are right, but the content

I also can confirm that this is not only effect JPEG attachment but
other attachments as well.

mostly - they just show the first image/frame, write about caching,
but after caching is done, movie is not played.

* Find an openoffice document with nautilus
* Right click on it to try and make an archive out of it
* Be confused because it says Extract archive
Of course, this is because OpenOffice documents are zip files with XML

Yes, you are right! Changing %U to %F really fixes this problem and
totem is using gvfs instead.
I have created a patch to totem.desktop file, please send it to hardy-
updates.
